Am picking up my new WRX wagon (MY02) on Wednesday and would like to fit an amp somewhere out of sight. I don't really want to mount it under the seat for a number of reasons - does any one have any suggestions of where else I can mount it? Was thinking of mounting it to the underside of the boot floor in the spare wheel well if there's enough clearance. It's not a very high power amp so heat should not be too much of an issue.

Photos of wagon installs would be good to have a look at from an inspiration point of view (I'm not after a show winner, just something clean and discrete ;o)

It might get a bit hot under all that carpet and polystyrene I would have thought. I have mine under my seat, easy to do and the kids don't seem to kick it.

ye i was lol. i posted under Dmrbiker. swapped it for my scoob.Vws are so nice and well built. better than subarus, just not as fast.

 

i thought id add an update of what it looks like now. 90% finished. 3000watt mono and a 800watt 4 channel amps are hidden underneath
