I've changed the standard head unit to a Sony Bluetooth (MEX2500), now want to do the front speakers.

I don't need anything fancy, so have found some Sony 13cm ish ones which should fit with spacers. They are pretty cheap, about £30.

They are 2 way, so what do I do about the current tweaters? Should I leave them or are they part of the problem at the moment? Disconnect them?

Or can someone recommend a good replacement to be used without an amp - nothing fancy.

 

can't remember what the inifity speakers i originally looked at were (probably in the sticky at the top of the ice section), but went for the 6500cs which was the direct replacement i think. i had them fitted (by paragon in braintree)
