MY07 Hawkeye Ice upgrade ?
I want to upgrade my system, as I said in my previous post I have some Infinity 605cs component speakers for the front which I'm told will fit straight in. I would like some advice on what rears to use, can I use the standard speaker wire, what sub and amp package, all with factory look in mind.
not bothered about changing head unit but think maybe I'll have to. Don't want to take up too much boot space either but thats not critical.
Any help, or pictures would be much appreciated.
Thanks

In fact I don't even know if my 605cs's will fit straight in or will I need a spacer ? What size are the rears ? Will the subaru headunit run a sub ?
I can't find chiark's guide to fitting either.
Anyone help ?

the rear door speakers are 4" you will need to make a spacer out of mdf as no one makes them. what i did is take the speaker out and traced the outline and where to drill the holes. wasent to hard if i can do it anyone can lol

In my MY06 Hawkeye STi, I've got infinity's in the front with a MDF spacers, which were previously fitted in a MY01 WRX (can't remember 12 or 18mm MDF), and i've fitted 4" (100mm) Pioneers in the back, had to sacrifice the OEM rears to mount the pioneers (IIRC OEM's had 3 hole fixings) but then thats all the OEM speakers were good for
