My GB270 came with a double DIN single CD player, I want to change it for a Subaru/Kenwood 6CD in unit player.

Yes, I know they are not much cop, but neither are the speakers and I don't want to go down the upgrade path. My head unit is CD changer compatible, but I don't want to drill holes in the floor to mount a changer so that rules out under the passenger seat, and it can't go in the boot because I cart two working gundogs and loads of shooting kit around, plus it gets used as a builders wagon etc.

The easiest option therefore is to just stick a 6 CD player in the dash. Anyone upgraded their ICE and got a redundant OEM 6 CD player?

Nice to see you about.

In the dim and distant past when i had a Subaru I mounted the changer in one car using velcro, and used carpet screws in another. Both held the changer firm, they are pretty light after all. Just an option, as changers are pretty cheap.

i think i might have what your after i have just got a 55plate wagon that iv got of my dad and he had a stero upgrade witch he said is kenwood. and the 6 cd slot in the headunit. the number is gx806eop.

anyway im looking to upgrade my stero so it will be comeing out soon is that wat your after?
