Default Kenwood DDX 7029 question

I've just received my new DDX 7029 unit and wondered if it is possible to connect multiple screens (for the kids in the back) has anyone done this? or can it be done?

cheers

yes it can be done mate

from the back of the unit there is an "AV OUT" - this is where the other screen(s) will get it's signal(s) from.

All you need is another screen installed and wired in

It should explain how to do this in the manual.

I have the same headunit and have had 2 screens hooked up to it before, as mentioned it is a pretty simple connection process.

The DDX-7029 is the best headunit I've had so far, love the bluetooth facility on it as well. I was amazed that this one actually works nevermind working unbelievably.

Yep - have mine running a roof screen in the back, you can also split the video and audio front and back eg you can have radio or ipod on in the front and dvd in the rear..

the 7029 has USB input for external devices whereas the 6029 doesnt not too sure about the other differences yet as i havent had mine in long enough to work out all the features but im sure someone on here will know for sure.
No cutting was required at all it was a direct fit
