Connect a suitable gauge power cable direct to the battery & feed it through the large rubber grommet in the bulkhead (air-con pipe). Then you should be get hold of the cable from the passenger side footwell area. Remove the plastic side sill trims & lift up the carpet. Feed the cable along until you reach the boot. No need for drilling.
I would be careful drilling in the boot as the petrol tank sits under half the seat area & boot.
I have mounted the amps to the back of the seats. Earth cable is bolted to the seats belt bracket.
Phono cables are routed on the drivers side & centre.

The grommit is behind the blower motor unit/aircon. Its kind of level with the lower glove box handle. Hence having to feel around. Its better to push the cable through the grommet from the engine bay first. Then try to find it from inside the car.
