Come on help me out
#1
I have posted a question yesterday, 32 looked at it but no one helped me at all.
All I need to know is when fitting 6X9 speekers in the back of a 4 door Turbo 2000, should I trim the current speeker holes, or fit a MDF self.

Do you mean, that I should mount them under the holes.
I am planing to use the orignal grills, and carpet, I think I am going to have to trim the speeker holes abit in order to get them to fit flush.
Am I the only person to fit a pair of 6X9 in the rear?
Also looking at the fibreglass stealth box any good, what sub's are best for the box, my amp is 300W

Thats right. I'd mount them underneath the shelf. I have heard of other people that have done this to good effect. Personally tho, I wouldn't bother with the 6x9s and stick with Infinity 605's in the front and the mother of all Subs in the boot

So I have heard, but I have them so I might as well use them, right?
or not.
I have got a stealth 12" box, and have yet to get a sub, amp is running 300W, what do you sugest.
I have a 75W RMS that I could use in the front but this is not going to be powerfull enough.

Don't forget it's all about quality not just maximum power, for example I had a 200w Alpine V12 amp running 2x 10 Rockford Fosgate Subs, which was actually louder than a 400w Rockford Fosgate Punch amp! - It's all about matching the speakers to the amp to get the right impedance, i currently have a 4x50w Alpine V12 (Max 4x120w) running my mids and tweeters front and rear, this is only set to 1/2 way on the gain as it is plenty loud enough, I also have a 1x500w Alpine V12 running the same Rockford subs which makes the car shake......
