Default Problems with my front speaker mounts

Hi ive bought some 130mm speakers and adaptor plates to fit in the front of my my99 impreza. The mounts are made by autoleads and seem to be the only ones i can get hold of, the thing is the dont seem to match up to the original screw fixings in the door. They dont some with any instructions which im not suprised as they looked to be easy enough to fit . The only thing im thinking now is that they may be sided (which i doubt) or they are completly wrong for my car.

Has anybody else come across this problem before ?? any help would be greatly appreciated

Drill the plates to match the holes in the door

They require drilling to interface with the holes in the door
