Gary girl interferrance!!
Hiya, please can anyone help me with my issues with my stereo?! I have had some 6x9's fitted & they sound fab! The only problem is that I have interferrance coming through the speakers when the volume is low! Had smaller speakers in before & thought when the new speakers went it that this would cure it?! I have an amp & sub & think its the amp noise coming through my speakers! Its really annoying & just wondered how I can stop it? I had heard that it could be cus my head unit is not powerfull enough or is that a load of ****e haha?! Had a small supressor fitted on the alternator too & that did nothing!! Any idea's would be fabtastic!! xx

No the speaker cables are all tucked up nicely along the top of the boot? I wonder if I have got the bass/treble/volume set correct now my speakers have been changed! I know I should take it somewhere to get it done but I like to do stuff myself & know how to change it! I'm not your typical girl I like to get involved with my car rather than pay someone to do it! I might like pink but I also love my car haha!!

for a start, if you are running a sub, theres no need for 6x9's
there a compromise anyway, not to mention crap. what you need is a decent set of components in the front and a system setting up correctly.
If you must have rear speakers, just run a normal set of mids, your not in the back so really, what do you care
what amp do you have, do you have the model number to hand or can you get it?

Check that your earth is tight and clean on your amp. Does the whirring noise get faster when you rev your engine? If so the stereo needs suppression, usually done with capacitors.
