Default Forester Pocket flap - silver only, or black available?

I've called my local dealer with the part number in the FAQ (66128SA000), but they have no idea what colour it is, or whether another colour is available.

I assume that's a silver one. Is there an alternative to silver, as it's to go in MY00 classic WRX import?

Thanks

Thanks Dave. I think the one pictured in the FAQ is silver (ru's scoob), and in the searches I've done, I've only found that one part number.

It would be so much nicer to get the Forester one than something from halfords. The local dealer can only look things up with my chassis number, but I don't own a Forester (and I'm not sure the chassis number of my import will be of interest to them).

just pop down there and ask for a single DIN pocket

Get them to look it up on their parts system

mine was about 20 quid

If not, let me know, and i'll nip down to mine and get the part no or order obe for you

The forester silver single din, one with the flap is part number 66128SA000 £11.65 plus vat
Black pocket without flap part number 66128AE000 £18.27 plus vat.
I know it doesnt make sense you would think the one with the flap would be dearer but the prices are correct.
hope this helps

Thanks guys.
So as I thought, the part no. I had was for a silver one.
And there's a black one, without a flap (I'd like it with).

Dave, does your black one have a flap?

Having just spoken to the local subaru dealer, it seems the only way I can choose one, is by recommendations, complete with a part number. And of the two that you've listed above, the silver one is the older one, so I'm not sure that they both fit?

Also, anyone seen the one with a flap in black?

No Trig, it doesn't have a flap

Very useful for storing things in, mind esp. CD's
