Very nice, i've got the IVA-D310 in mine, you'll find it plays MP3's off DVD's so won't need to connect your ipod to it. You can fit 75+ album's on a single layer DVD.

 

Change your wallpapers to something a bit more interesting !!!!!!!!!!!

Is there anyway that you can design your own ones?

 

Will those wallpapers work on the IVA-D310??
If so how do you put them onto the unit??

 

On mine(iva-w200ri) u've gotta put them onto a cd-r (max of ten per disc) then put this into the headunit and then select it from there.

Has yours got the i-personalize feature?

 

Yeah apparantly it's the same for mine.

Does it upload them off the disc then?? or do they only work when the disc is in?

It will work on IVA-W200Ri, IVA-D310R/RB and I think D300 too. You need to put the files on to a CDR and it will allow you to upload only 2 pictures which will be stored in the radio. Depending on how you have it set up it will either alternate between the 2 changing each time you turn the ignition off or you can have it fixed on one all the time. You can't make your own as it will only work with APN files. See Pride Labs site for what to do, he'll convert them if good enough and then you can upload into your radio. I've done a fair few and change them when I get bored with whatever I have for a few weeks.

And yes only 2 can be on the unit and you can only put a max of ten on a cd-r. Make sure that they are in the root folder on the disc though.
I haven't managed to do any yet because the g/f used my last cd-r!

And what does RTFM mean?

It is a lovely unit though. What do you do for security, does the whole front come off?

While that would seem like enough albums for anyone, and saves buying an iPod, I'd still get an iPod. No point in spending £597 on an HU, to then cut corners. 75 albums still means you can't just choose whatever song you like without changing the disc, whereas you can get your entire collection (1000 albums) on an iPod.
