Blaupunkt Kingston MP47
Thinking of my replacing my existing HU with this. Plan to connect a 20GB external HD via the USB port. Anyone foresee any problems with this set up?
Do I have to cut the external surround to fit Blaupunkt HUs?

I'm looking into the same option, and the problems that you can have, are:
1) How long the HU takes to pick up your list after switching on
2) How long it takes when switching from Radio to USB
3) How many tracks in how many folders can the HU handle
4) Can the HU display your tracks as you'd like
I'm not sure whether to go Blaupunkt, Kenwood, or go iPod with Alpine. But I won't be buying without trying first. I tried one of the Alpines today with an iPod, and it was fairly decent. The new Kenwoods are available in my local shop this week, so I'll be back to try those.
