Default Classic double din cage ?

I have a STi 4 1998 classic with a double din sterio fitted as standard,
i am trying to put a single din sterio in its place but im having trouble because ive missed placed the standard cage so there is nothing to fit the unit in the hole, has anyone got a spare cage or an adapter to fit this in?

Thanks for looking please reply

Double din don't actually have a cage.
They have bracket that you bolt on to the double din unit, and then screw into the dash.

if it's the same as my sti 3 (1997 my) you don't use the cage that comes with the stereo anyway. there's a metal cage in the car and it has holes in the right place for your single din to fit in the lower section without the normal cage being used.
