Default Kenwood dx6029 help please

How in Gods name do you turn the Traffic Information off?

..I'ts in serious danger of getting smashed to pieces right now, sends me crazy driving to work with ti interuptions every 5 minutes

I've read the manual from cover to cover, and then twice again!

but can't see how you can unless you have the DAB opton

in the instruction manual it says that the wire must be connected to the hanbrake switch for images to work for safety reasons

yer that was what i thought, would need to go to a constant wire

on my kenwood 727 unit it had the handbrake wire but i never wired it up and the picture showed.
i guess the newer units dont allow this.

did u find this same problem when you wired it up

I questioned Elmer beforehand so I didn't have to keep taking it out. There is a mass of wires to cram behind the unit. God knows where you would fit the optional sat nav, tv receiver, blue tooth etc if you had them. I've just bought a reversing camera to link to the screen, that should be fun trying to fit that up.
