Default classic radio wire colours??? help needed

when i first got my impreza, the last owner cut the radio block connector off so im trying to connect an ISO cable correctly.
so far i have
ISO - CAR LOOM
red-yellow/red trace (ignition pos)
yellow-blue/red trace (permanant pos)
blue-white (arial remote)
black-black (negative)
orange- not sure where this goes, ISO guide says illumination

ok so far so good, but now for the speaker wiring. its basically standard setup but i havnt got a clue whats what on these, i need to know the + and - for each speaker, these are the wires i have from car loom.

green
white/black trace
red/black trace
white/red trace
red/white trace
blue/yellow trace
brown/white trace
red/yellow trace

im assuming they are all the speaker wires

these are what i need help with, what ones are + - for front left, front right, back left, back right?

also got
2 white/yellow
2 black
any idea what they for?

any help or colour code would be exellent

get a low voltage battery and connect across your assume'd pos and neg, you will hear the speaker pop as it were to diagnose which is which

You may have cracked a voice coil! was the head unit switched on at the time of touching,
You can tell by pushing on the speaker cone gently and feeling what it depresses like, if it is free and easy with no noise to speak of then it should be ok, if you feel any resistance or it sounds like it has sand in it (yes really) then it is likely that your speaker is good for nothing any more

yes the head unit was switched on but the speaker was not connected.
like i say, theres nothing wrong with the speaker, its the 2 wires that feed it.
im thinking something must have happend to the amp in the head unit, well the part that feeds the front right speaker,

i dont really know much about this sort of thing so does anyone know if its fixable?

it is possible to be fixed but you will need to get it swent off to a specialist to get it looked at, you might have a damaged output chip if speaker is ok
