O.K. so I'm looking at buying the auto acoustics stealth box for a 12" sub But what sub is recommended? I'm thinking Rockford Fosgate or Pheonix Gold anyone got anything they would recommend?

What volume is the box?

Is it ported? If so, what are the dimensions of the port.

Doesn't matter what sub you put in there, if the box is the wrong size it'll sound kak.

What amp will you be using?

I've had experience with Infinity subs before. the kappa's are great. they're not the most sensitive in the world, so they do need some power from the amp to get the volume. but they are crisp and tight, not boomy and out-of-control like many cheaper options.

They seem to work best in small, sealed enclosures. and there are free plans for boxes on the infinity-systems website.

Personally I'm a Soundstream fan, I have owned many subs, JBL's, JL Audio, Cerwin Vega to name a few. But find the Soundstream spot on for the music I listen to, which is anything from hard house to classical at a volume depending on how loud the exhaust is

What amp are you going to be using?

What music do you like?

Are you after SQ or max SPL??

Not enough volume for my personal favourite JL12W6 (old, but excellent).
