ye you pretty much do have to take the whole rear of the car apart . take the back seat out undo the two bolts you can see near the floor that takes out the bottom section of the seat then you will see three more to undo so you san take out the rest of it , then you will be able to slide the parcel shelf out which will reveal the bolts to undo the speakers , its easy only five min job.

don't forget that the shelf is held down by pop studs so watch you don't rip them out.

Can i ask how long this process took? i am attempting to swap both front and back speakers on friday with help of my brothers neighbour who is an AA man, do you think it will take long? It sounds easy but im thick and he is used to mending cars not installation?

How long did it take you guys and what knowledge did you have before doing it? Manythanks for any response....yay my first post.

To do both front and rear, I'd allow a day. it'll probably take less, but if you start late, sod's law says you'll finish when the shops are all shut and you need just that ONE part...........

Hope you're working in a garage?

I did my rears without removing the seat, but I don't recommend it
