Straight fit speaker for my94 wagon
Hi peeps,
Done a search on this but didnt find much conclusive stuff on what im after
What I am after is a definate answer from either someone that as done it or knows for sure.
Reason why I say this is because I want to order some online and dont really want any disapointments once received.
I after a make and model of speakers that will just give me a nice sound onboard and will straight fit in place of the old ones straight ot of the box.
I must say that the original speakers in my scoob are the worst sound factory fited speakers ive heard
TIA

Hi Mate
Note sure if they are the same but I just changed the speakers in my MY00 Saloon, I could not find anything that was a direct swap so what I did was buy the Infinity 6010CS speakers which are teh same size as the OEM ones but slightly deaper, they fit in the standard plastic surround that comes on the car but you need to cut about 5 mm off the back of the holder, the bit that acts as a hood. you also need to mount the metal ring that comes with the speaker set onto the original surround then you can mount the speaker.
I have some photos if you are interetsed but have no where ot host them.
I could mail you them if you have a large inbox as they are not small.
PM me if you are interested.
Cheers
Steve
