Default 1 sub or 2???

Hi everyone!!
Hope someone can help me with some good recomendations here!
Im currently running 1 sub in my 2002 wrx. Its a vibe one (not sure of the model number) and its being run on an alpine amp. The amp currently is running the front speakers and the sub. But the sub is just no good! In my last car (mk4 supra) i was ruuning 2 10" subs (jbl 1000watts) on an spl 800watt amp which sounded great. What i wanted to know is wheather i should go for one 12" sub or two 10" subs. obiviously the boots are completely diffrent so i just wanted people to throw some ideas my way. I also wanted to get a seperate amp for it. Any recomendations on amp and/or subs would be much apriciated.

Cheers

used to run vibe CBR twin 12" from Kenwood 9152d (amp is about 140 quid)

knocked the wind straight outta ya!!!

That was in my astra

My scooby is getting treated to Two 9152d's and a Cerwin Vega Stroker 15" which should be complete and the end of the month.

Obviously it will be up to you what you get but the 10" subs will be really tight and punchy while the 12"s will go that bit lower and suit the dancy style of music ie happy hardcore or D&B
