hey i have just bought on but my ipod wont play on it i can control my ipod with but it wont play the music has anyone had the same problem and how did u fix it i was told to update my ipod but it hasnt worked

i need seriour help with this im getting pi*sed off with it right now

what head unit are you using it with?

 

would it be pioneer?

 

only asked because the pioneer adapter is head unit specific, only works with certain ones, and the function buttons are tricky to get to grips with even if its compatible. have you tried checking to see if the plug is in the wrong socket on the adaptor? i got caught out with that, had it in the one for the cd changer and it shows up like its connected perfectly but just wont play?
