Default CD Changer factory mounting place?

Where do Subaru mount the factory fit cd changers on classic scoobs?

I am thinking of fitting my old alpine cd changer and like to keep my car looking as close to original as possible.

Cheers.

Default

Mine (Subaru/Philips job) is in the boot, on the underside of the parcel shelf.

However I don't think the CD changers were ever factory fit. Think they were dealer fit and they either put them in the boot or under the passenger seat. My personal preference would be to fit it under the passenger seat.
