Newage STi front/rear speakers
Hi
While I'm waiting on my car to be delivered I thought I'd sort out new speakers to replace the notoriously kak standard ones.
Does anyone have any pics of component front speakers in the doors with the door cards off and on?
Also has anyone mounted tweeters behind the dash rather than keep the tweeter near the mid in the door?
Last but not least - dimentions of the standard door speakers and rear shelf speakers.
Has anyone easily 'oversized' the speakers?
e.g. In my Saph the standard door speakers were 5.5", but I took a stanley knife to the speaker holes in the cards and dropped in 6" components with minimal effort.
I'm not one for fabricating new speaker mounts y'see
