Question

Does anyone know who makes an in car TV? I have seen the Alpine units that fold out of a standard DIN opening and I want one, but I want one that shows normal TV as well as just video/DVD etc.

Anyone know the model number? Or a general cost for such an item?

all the big manufacturers do in car tv.

some sell the screen/tv tuner separately, others package it up.

best thing to do is go to a decent car audio place and have a look at what they have.

price wise, I think you can get started for about £1000 and go upwards from there!

Of course, one of the little casio portables would be cheaper.....

You can get the Separate Screens for a lot less than £1000 , and the great thing is that you can remove them quite easily.

Thanks Mark, but I have an MR2.

How much are they in general for a very basic TV system?

This month's TCA (Total Car Audio) has a feature on in car screens. Get a copy from smiths!

They also list the screens available from most manufacturers in the back, plus have tons of adverts for places that sell/install them...
