Kenwood Install
Just completed the head unit install in my WRX. Thanks to CHIARK whos FAQ's of how to take apart a scooby are brilliant
Headunit is an XXV anniversary touchscreen 7" from Kenwood - Not cheap but well worth it. It was in my astra but hey that's now for sale
(any takers?????????)
Part two consists of trying to fit the TV arials somewhere and hooking up the parking sensor so i can watch DVD/TV when stuck in traffic in Dunstable
Part Three will consist of me giving my car to my local ICE Expert, who is a god, and him turn my boot into a new house for the four amps, PS2, 15" sub and extra screen, not to mention also doing my door speakers - Do 17cm components fit in scooby doors???????
For those of you interested i'll keep you posted!!!!

most of it (amps, wiring, nuts, bolts, fuse holders) came from the Motorists Centre, Leighton Buzzard. The Head Unit and component speakers came from Just Kenwood (or Borehams Mail Order) Oxford. It's being put together by me and the boot build is being done in Markyate.
The rear speakers and centre speaker i havent got round to buying yet but may use my old kenwoods for the rear and get a "proper" centre channel speaker to make the most of the 5.1 surround!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any other questions please ask !!!

Why bother with the connector under the seat (from memory a 51 bug-eye doesn't have seatbelt warning lights) , just earth the parking sensor lead, much easier
