Question

Just bought an MR2 which has come with a very nice Sony RC with 10 disc changer.

It seems to be high spec, and similar to the current CDX-8850R. Does anyone know where I can get an instruction manual from? I want to know how to get the CD names onto the display, and also what some of the features are.

I've got a similar head unit.

There are two ways to get the CD text (names)

1. If the CD's GOT CD text on it then it will be displayed.

2. However, not many do at the moment - you've got to write in the names per disc. Don't think it stores track titles though....

I can scan bits of my manual, but it's for the older MD unit MDX7970 I think....

Let me know,

Dan

Dream Weaver,

I bought my other half a refurb Sony MD head unit with no instructions, you can phone up Sony and they will send you the instruction manual for a fiver. You need to contact the Sony Service Centre on 0208 283 2700.

Cheers
Neil
