Double din set ups....

Hi, i currently have an impreza P1. This has a single din cd player at the mo, however im toying with the idea of fitting a console from a jap import (double din) so i can fit a double din dvd player... does anyone know if this is a fairly straight forward swap?

Any advice appreciated.
