6x9's Parcel Shelf Classic
Howdy guys
After a lot of research and trawling through old posts I've decided to fit some 6x9's in the rear shelf of my classic. Going to fit them using an MDF collar from underneath (i.e from the boot). Currently I'm looking at a set of Pioneer TS-A6911 . Does anyone have any experience of these speakers? Basically I'm looking for a recommendation for a set of 6x9's that fit relatively easy and sound good for not a lot of cash . . .
Any advice appreciated

Dearest Moderator,
have you thought about doing a search of the ICE forum.?
I would suggest using "6x9" which brings up over 100 threads, and from memory I'm sure there are some speaker options discussed recently.
Your humble servant,
Rich

I've got a near new set of focal access 6x9's if you want to make me an offer.... Theyre in mint condition back in the boxes and have only been used for around half an hour. (fitted to my old car just before deciding to sell it)

Don't fit 6x9s, unless you just want loud sounds in the car . Spend money and fit a decent set of front speakers, forget the rears. If you can do, I'd put genesis 6x9 subs under the shelf.

Thanks for the advice guys but like I said I've been weighing up pros n' cons looking back at old posts and using the search facility etc (I do know where the button is Rich ) . To be honest it's just a bit of a project for me to do at the mo since I'm not working.
Not going down the "max power" route Nick trust me lol . .
I just need information on whether these Pioneers have ever been fitted by anyone else or If theres a reasonably priced set out there that fit and sound ok
Doug I'm in Ireland so shipping costs etc would prob be quite high and not worth my while but thanks anyway
Thanks again guys
