Default rewiring door speakers

Going to rewire my front components as I have replaced them with Boston SL60's. Problem is I am not sure which way to reroute the wiring. Anyone give advice?

there is loads of room for your cables to be run down the side of the car under the trim and you can also run them through the door rubbers if you get an old metal coat hanger and carfully thread it through with your speaker cable taped to the end of it.

Running through the door rubbers is easier said than done! Took me 45 minutes to run them outside of the rubbers, nevermind through them. An almost impossible task with all the sound deadening inside the car combined with the wiring loom for the doors.

Lots of cuts on hands but done eventually. 4 hours to rewire front components + deadening in doors, plus fit speakers and tweaters.

The tweeters were also a pain as they needed the terminals bending to fit the origianal brackets. One of the terminals broke off! Not happy and a bit of careful soldering neededd.

Just gotta plug it all in and connect to battery. The missus is unhappy!

A metal coathanger is dead easy. Loop in both ends. Cover coathanger in washing up liquid. Remove kick panel at bottom of doors and shove it right up there so to speak. Will slip in and through very easily. Remember to attache your speaker cable to the other end.

A bit too late now. I have it outside the grommet. Should be okay. I found that the door end of the rubber pipe was sealed close around the wiring loom. I agree that washing up liquid is a winner for lubing up. I used it to get the power cable through the firewall (as they say in USA)
