Kenwood double din unit - help needed
Hi,
I'm trying to find information to identify the 14 pins (ie. power/speakers etc) on the back of a GX-401EF2 Kenwood double din unit as fitted to later Imprezas
Thanks

Sorry to hijack thread but has anyone got any pictures of the connectors on the back of the std head unit ??
I am interested in adding a parrot bluetooth kit which comes with an in-line iso adaptor but I dont think the connections on the back of the head unit are iSO.
If I am right, and I bought an autoleads adaptor I could convert the std wiring to iso, add the parrot adaptor in line but then wouldnt be able to plug it back into the std head unit as parrot wiring would have an iso connector at the end.

From service manual:
Pin 1 Small
Pin 2 Front Right +
Pin 3 Front Left +
Pin 4 Rear Right +
Pin 5 Rear Left +
Pin 6 BU
Pin 7 NC
Pin 8 Front Right -
Pin 9 Front Left -
Pin 10 ACC
Pin 11 Ground
Pin 12 Rear Right -
Pin 13 Rear Left -
Pin 14 P-ANT
Looking at it BU seems to be the main power feed, ACC the switched power feed. SMALL may well be the 'bright' control. NC is not connected.
Not sure if the pins are labelled on the actual unit. Ground would be easy to suss out, as it'll be connected to the metalwork I guess.
Good luck!

I just got an adaptor lead thing when I binned the original HU, much easier.
