Sorry i know its an odd ball

Friend in work wants to wire an old ford radio into his ford for part x reasons.


The radio has had plugs cut off and we need to find out what colours are what.

I think from memory this is a start

Yellow (fused) Permanent live
red switched live
Black neutral


Its the speakers which we need, please

I know the method of doing this, if i had the radio with me but i havent and the guys isnt the brightest spark

I would look at the positions in the power connector as shown on the diagrams though because some of the OE plugs have brown as an earth (and occasionally more than one)
