Default Ice Advice

Alright all, i'm looking to do a bit of an ICE install on my P1 sometime next year, i'm only after a middle of the road install not an all singin all dancin one, i was thinking of a good HU, some good speakers for the front and rear, a Sub and 2 Amps to run the lot, i hopefully will have a £1000 to spend on the lot, any recommendations/advice would be appreciated

Cheers, Ian

I would personally run a 6 channel amp 4 channels for the doors and the last 2 bridged for the sub, cuts down on the need for 2 fitting kits and rca's power leads etc. Also buy decent quality cables as cheap ones really affect sound quality.

This is the amp I used to have in my car:

http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/2751.html

and the speakers:

http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/1312.html

http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/1310.html

and the sub box:

http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/1424.html

I bought all the stuff from this shop, very good prices and in my blobeye it sounded fantastic, but you will need to put some sound deadening in.

I'm sure others will have different ideas especially when it comes to what speakers in the doors.
