Removal of CD System from WRX STI

Help!!!
I have a WRX STI V4 5 door with the standard CD/Radio and I need to remove the unit for maintenance. Does anyone know the procedure for doing so as there are no 'release holes' as found on conventional car systems?
Any assistance greatly appreciated.
