Default STIMY05 Speakers

Ok im going thought the usual scooby stereo decisions,

Head unit is certain...which one, not sure/
Would like a straight no-hassle swap. Will spend up to £300
ny recommendations?

Speakers...any decent ones available that dont require the MDF modification???

Not sure there are any double DIN (i.e. straight swap) HUs about which are worth getting for that dosh.


I'm sure that also there aren't any loudspeakers which are worth getting which go straight in - the OE ones are stupidly thin.

I wonder if there's any money in fabricating 200 MDF spacers? £20 for a pair anyone?

I reckon people would pay £15 for a set. Too late for me though!

let me know what these spacer sets are and I may consider knocking a few up while im off work.

did my own with the mdf...


it really is **** easy

a fiver for the mdf and £12 for a cheap jigsaw.

20 mins later....two spacers.
