Despite now having Infinity's front and rear in my classic, I could do with a bit more bass.
Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced sub - nothing spectacular, just good value for money.
Head unit is a Kenwood 5021 CD player 4 x45w I think...
I'm assuming I'm going to need an amp also but "subwoofer's for dummies" information would be appreciated.

You really will need an amp for any sub. Don't even try to power even the smallest sub from the HU.
Do you have a wagon or saloon? The reason I ask is it's hard to get the bass through to the cabin on a saloon. I've removed my rear speakers which improved the sound from the sub hugely.
As far as which sub?.. it's all down to budget really. I bought second hand and got a decent PG amp and 12" DA sub for about 200 quid.
Get yourself over to talkaudio.co.uk. There's always plenty for sale on there.

Hi there, I have got a 2 Magnat Destructor 1200 12" subs and a 2 Maystar QXT 200 amp for sale. Wanting around the £200 mark for each sub and amp, these cost me approx £500 each new. Last year at the North East Motor Show measured 126DB with one of these in.
Messiah - try something "active" for the the boot - if you don't want anything too silly!
Halfrauds are doing a couple on offer at the moment, but there are loads in the £150-250 category .... Bass Junkies
