I.C.E. for WRX STI

Very easy.
Head unit hole is currently double din.
Depending on year of your car, different methods of moving the stereo surround.
Once out, remove metal frame which supports head unit. attach head unit with bolts through the frame/cage into the side of your head unit. They will align correctly.
Wiring is simple. Three wires. Ground, switched and permanent live. Then eight wires, two for each speaker.
Thats it. You may be lucky enough to get an adaptor for the plug, but if you cant, dont worry. Just cut adaptor and using terminal adaptors some better method of joining wires.
Price is the cost of a headunit plus any methoid of joing wires.

Does anyone know what’s involved in installing a standard DIN sized UK head unit into a Japanese WRX STI? I know the frequency of the standard radio is different, but are all the connections, wiring etc. totally different, and if so, roughly how much would it cost me to get sorted for UK ICE?
Thanks in advance,
David
