Default Speaker problem

I have an 02 WRX with an Alpine 9833R head unit, what size speakers will fit directly into the front without any mods, what should i put in...........

Only the original ones mate. They have a mounting depth of 38mm which is way less than any decent make.

So what do you suggest, do after market speakers they still fit behind the original door cards or not

Most people on here have gone for Infinity 6000cs with a 12mm MDF spacer.

6.5" speakers with a lump of MDF normally work well. I find infinities on the bright side, but there's plenty of options.

I had some kenwoods in mine for a while.

I had to make up some spacers from MDF but it was all pretty straight forward.
