does anyone near north london have this unit who could possibly give me a tutorial on this unit or help me figure out what's wrong?

I have downloaded the manuals but they don't seem to answer my direct questions.

My unit is connected to a touch screen pioneer monitor so all controls are pretty much through that.

issues are this:

I want it to stop displaying the roads I have already travelled down by way of white dots,

I want the voice to tell me what is going on at each junction

I want to be able to access the two right most view types available (apparently these only switch on during navigation).


Occasionally I can press the top left hand corner of the screen and it will spout a direction at me such as turn right in 10 miles, but this seems to be the first instruction the unit would have given me, not the present one.

The map shows where I am and where I should be going, but this doesn't correspond to the spoken instruction I can get when I press the screen.

also the road name corresponds to the road I was on when I first started the navigation, not what I am on now.

Anyone know this unit well enough to explain?

ps. I bought it through ebay from another country, so I don't have dealer back up, I also installed it myself, so it would be hard to take it to a local dealer now and get them to diagnose whats up if it's an installation error.

As above, ask talkaudio mate - it looks like no-one here is an expert on these things, and they are fairly rare!
