Stereo Code???
Does anyone know how to enter a code into a vauxhall grundig stereo? I have the code but the display just says SAFE. Is there a combantion of buttons to press?
Any ideas would be great
ps. its a 94 Combo van.
Thanks,
Barry

It says SAFE because someone has entered the code wrongly too many times.
Can't remember the next procedure though I'm afraid.
On Pugs you have to leave them on for ages and they reset and ask for the code again later on.
For actually entering the code use the memory store buttons 1-5 below the display
for code 1234
press button 1 once
press button 2 twice etc, etc

1. Switch the ignition on. (May sound obvious but radio will actually switch on and display safe without!)
2. Switch on the head unit, display shows "SAFE".
3. Press and hold the "AS" button, display then shows "----".
4. Enter the code number using buttons 1,2,3,4.
5. Once the correct code is displayed press and hold the "AS" button again.
The code should now be entered and the radio working.
