Unhappy B0ll0x I bought some 6.5" speaker

I was shopping for some speakers today and I was told they are 6" but when I got home and checked them they are 6.5" in dia.
Will these fit in a MY00?
they are Lanzar speakers???? paid 45 pounds new.

they will, but you will probably have to buy/build some spacers before they do actually go in.

Wink

I've got Sony 6.5" speakers in the front of a '98 car. I made my own spacers using the old speakers and the template that came with the Sony's, from 15mm mdf, and 2 coats of paint. Total job was about 2 hours.

IIRC Halfords do a fitting kit for the MY00 for 6.5" speakers about £15. You'll have to ask for it though, they have a big catalogue of bits they can order in for you.

Lump of 12mm mdf cut in the shape of the original speaker "pod" thingy, and you'll be laughing.
