hi anyone know how to get the door panel off a pre 99 classic so i can upgrade the speakers ?

5" comp's drop right in there is a plastic spacer. there should be a tweeter pod by the interior door handle (not sure if same for all classics)
you can also make a m.d.f. plate and mount a 6" min bass in will take a bit of work
dynamat will help

money is the biggest variable you can spend form £100 -1000 up to you
must us crossover set at around 100-125 hz to make the most of

check the faq and that shows MY00 stuff. The 98 is pretty similar - I'd hazard a guess that it'll be obvious. Look for a blanking plate covering a screw, and for poppers. Gently try and remove the leccy window controls and you'll probably find a BFO screw under there.
