My rear speakers are occasionally hissing so I am assuming that I have a short somewhere with the speaker wires. Therefore I plan to change them. I dont want to rip the whole interior out searching so can someone tell me what the routing for the speaker wires is on a my99 (RB5). I've had the rear seat out thinking it went under the seat but cant see. Then had a look in the boot and the cables seem to lead towards the rear lights, surely not!

 

if your getting his and your using a cd it mite be electrical line noise (like a winning )
usuall with amped systems

to sort it out you need to run all you earth leads to the same central point away form car looms and other electrics
