Unhappy Is it worth getting fixed?

My Alpine 7861R head unit seems to have a mind of it's own nowadays, radio won't hold onto a signal and go's straight to the stongest signal. Dealer reckons it costs at least £120 to send back to Alpine which seems a bit steep to say the least, just wondering if there is a cheaper alternative?

cheers, James
