Heya,

I'm in the process of buying all my ICE parts at the moment but im a little unsure of which amp will surfice to drive the infinity 6000cs component front speakers i've decided on (after reading your views on them here)

The speakers are rated at:

90w RMS
270w max power

And i've narrowed it down to two amps (both Alpine):

MRV T320

I know there is only £40 in it but no point spending more than i need to.

The rest of the setup is as follows:

Alpine CDA 9835R Headunit
Alpine KCA 420i ipod adaptor
Infinity Basslink (with integral amp)
Phoenix Gold RCA's + Stinger 4 guage wiring kit
Keeping the standard rear speakers but fading them out unless i have passengers.
Shed load of Dynamat Extreme.

What do you think folks? Or if you have any other sugestions as to what amp or any other part of the setup let me know as the only part ive bought so far is the headunit and ipod adaptor.

i'd get the 420 myself,better to have more power than to under power the speakers

 

agreed with paul. Yo8u can do more damage by underpowering than overpowering, and you have also the posibility of upgrading cheaper at a later date if ness

 

Cheers guys, had a bit of a re-think anyhow am now ditching the infinity stuff and going for Focal polyglass fronts, a boxed 10inch Focal K2 sub along with the same Alpine amp you guys said for the fronts and a M501 Alpine amp for the sub.
