Default Nakamichi H/U in a New-age?

Hi all

Just wondered what the fit looked like in the double din with a black SECS monitor on top?

In my 03STi I originally had an Alpine, sounded great but looked as tho it wasn't meant to be there

next I fitted a JVC Chameleon, looked as tho it *should*have been there, but sound quality is very poor

So before I go and splash out a fortune, does anyone know if its going to fit nicely or offer any advice as to what will?...I've heard nothing but good things about these units and coupled with the front Infinitys' and Pioneer 6x9's on the rear shelf,I'm hoping for the best of both worlds

Thanks Jon

Elmer, I've got a CD400 in my MY02 WRX and really looks it should be there and blends in very well. Goes really well with green lights. Hope this helps.

Not sure of the fit of the Nakamichi, but you will not be disappointed. I had one, swapped it for something else, regretted it ever since. Looking for the opportunity to go back, especially to the 700 unit. Great if you rate quality over flashy front end graphics and flashing garish lights.

Exclamation

Thanks for the replies

it was actually the CD400 that I was considering.....until I compared some prices that is

They retail in the UK for around £500ish,

in europe they go for about 700 euros,

but in America the very same H/U is only $309

thats only £187

While the 6 disc head unit/changer(MB100) retails at the best part of a grand in the UK only costs $446 in the States, which would mean it would be more cost effecient to get a return Virgin flight Stateside and buy the bluddy thing there!!

...or am I missing something here
