the head unit I have (MD) can control MD/CD changer
any ideas if it can do BOTH?onder2:
ie: an MD changer and a CD changer in the boot?
no doubt would need 2 unilink cables.. but cant quite remember if I can put the two devices into the headunit or wether I would need a fancy 'splitter' box?? onder2:

You can do this with the Sony stuff, but I'm pretty sure that you will need a Sony splitter.....

Been there, done that:

You defo need a Sony splitter, which cost me about £25 second hand.

Try a few ICE dealers.............. they may list it on their websites? If not, phone around. They are/were a bit rare when I wanted one:
