Question

Well, I've finally sized up the sub enclosure for my MY95 5dr - looks the biz and can't wait until tomorrow when I buy the bits......However,
The wife's seen the box and sez "If that box goes in the boot, you sleep in the car"

Now, although I love the Scoob, my wife rates ever so slightly higher in my priorities - which leads me to my question -

Has anybody put a sub in the sparewheel space WITH the spare wheel still in place (not screwed down with the wingnut) - after all the talk about sub enclosures, including comments by myself, I know it ain't ideal, but needs must - I want bass AND the love and affection from my wife......

If anybody's done this in a 5dr (or 4dr I presume), have they got the dimensions for building an MDF floor?

Comments pleeze....

Dan

This has definately been talked about before, do a search on the ice section it should throw something up.

Also i was looking at some ice demo cars the other weekend, and could not believe how shallow the boxes were for there subs, im running 2 10ins subs in quite large boxes, but the ones i saw in the road radio escort car were only 4-6 inches inches deep at the top of the back seat and went straight down (so a triangular box) left loads of boot space and sounded the business!
