New head unit install - need a advice....
Right, thinking of upgrading my H/Unit. Got an older top-of-the-range Sony unit CD/MD job with flip-down screen.
Now the kids are getting older (that's MY excuse and I'm sticking to it!!), I want a DVD system.
Ideally, a H/Unit with an integrated LCD panel for playing either DVDs/other video inputs (XBox etc) or SAT Nav.
PLUS the ability to connect another 2 LCD screens (to go on the back of the fron seats - 1 per child) + some ability to disconnect the front speakers (so the kids can listen to the DVD, while we listen to music) and maybe headphones.
Is there anything out there that meets these (picky!!) requirements?
Presumably, the DVDs would play off a seperate DVD player?
Doesn't necessarily need MP3 facility - got an IPod with I-Trip
Any thoughts?
Dan
Already got amps, Infinity speakers and Kenwood 12" Sub.

i bought an pioneer AVIC-X1 navigation and dvd player with a pop out screen,I have connected it to the rear screens i have in my car(99 Scooby)my screens in the rear have the option of adding headphones, while the head unit has amemory card it stores the dvd or cd so you can still listen to your cd and watch dvd as well.i have just had it fitted and am still seeing what else it can do.
