Default which front speakers

are the best size ??????????????

16cm or 17cm or doesnt it really matter ?

car is a my00 classic uk turbo
got a 2x200 watt KENWOOD-KAC-7251

thinking of going for the JBL components that can handle 90 watts RMS

but they do 2 sizes , , 16 or 17 cm
exactly the same speaker but the 1cm size difference
will they both fit directly or what, dont really want to start messing about cutting stuff etc etc

cheers in advance

I used Sony 3-way 17 cm speakers.

I used a combination of the existing speakers and the templates for the new Sonys to draw and make two MDF spacers, 15mm thick. After 2 coats of paint to waterproof them they were fitted using the original bolts, and the speakers screwed to them using good self-tappers.
