Default cabling

Hi,

There is loads about what head-unit/speaker to change to - but does anybody change the speaker cable? is it necessary - is there a noticeable difference?

Being building up to pulling scoob apart for ages - and dont really want to do it more than once!

any advice appreciated.

If you're using the head unit internal amps, it's not really worth it. However, you really would be surprised at the difference a cable can make: I was a non-believer until I actually sat down and played (admittedly at home)

Cable Talk 3 compared to QED Silver anniversary is a really good way to hear a difference. The QED has a much more open treble but is lacking in bass compared to the Cable Talk... The difference really is night and day!

Cheers,
Nick.
