Scooby Brother

I have a 03 STi, currently with a kenwood Mask in from my old 01 WRX. Replaced all the current speakers and fitted a Vibe Sub.

Fancy a new head unit, looking for a single CD/Tuner system and looking to spend upto £500. Currently looked at the Alpine CDA-9835R and the Pioneer DEH-9600MP, impressed by both!

Does anyone know if the Alpine req's a direct battery feed?

Also, any other views on the head units? or any recommendations on some others I should look at?

Also going to replace the tweeters in the front doors, any views on which ones?
